I grew up in Latin America where my parents were missionaries. My husband, Jay, and I moved up from Surrey to Skipton in 2006, to be closer to family. We have two boys in their late teens - Daniel and Ryan.

I work in the healthcare sector, as a Market Research Director, and when not working, I enjoy walking in the Dales with our dog, Jackson, as well as attending keep fit-classes at the gym. 

I joined SBC 17 years ago, and over the past 10 years I have been involved in the Worship and Prayer ministries at the church. I am now also part of the Church Morning Service 'Hosting' team. 

I have been serving as a deacon since 2018. As the deacon who oversees Prayer, my desire is for people to better know and understand God, and who He is through prayer. To experience what a wonderful privilege it is to be able to access God's throne room in this way through Jesus - and to know that He hears our every prayer - no matter how long, short, simple or convoluted it is!
