I’m Bernard, the son of a Baptist Minister. I committed to Christ while at college, and have been involved in church life and leadership ever since. I have been a Deacon or Elder in 4 churches before my wife, Katie, and I moved to Skipton in 2011.

One of my many passions is that Christians appreciate the truth and “reasonableness” of their faith.

I became a deacon at SBC in 2013 and I have oversight for Health and Safety and Data Protection.

I lead a Connect Group, and I play the organ and keyboard for worship.
